St. Cuthbert's Retreat is situated in the heart of Wooler, a small market town in the Northumberland National Park. Close to restaurants, pubs, shops and local amenities, this central location makes St Cuthbert's Retreat ideal as a stopover for those walking St.Cuthbert's Way, or as a base for holiday makers, walkers, cyclists and those interested in exploring the nearby Cheviot Hills, Northumberland National Park, Scottish Borders or the beautiful North Northumbrian coast. There is a secure space and washing area for cycles.
If you are walking St. Cuthbert's Way, the town of Wooler offers an ideal place to pause before continuing on your way to the Lindisfarne Causeway, via St. Cuthbert's Cave, and ultimately on to Holy Island.
